The BDS aims to be the leading UK source of objective and unbiased information on the biology of deer and methods of deer management, humane treatment and control. Deer should be part of our wildlife habitat and The BDS work with landowners to manage numbers.
We had the pleasure of working with them to ensure our latest book, There’s No Deer Around Here was factually correct; providing tips for spotting deer in our local surroundings.
The BDS promote deer education, research and management best practice to ensure a healthy and sustainable deer population in balance with the environment; a key feature of the biodiversity of the UK landscape.
