The MLB Viewfinder
Try making a cardboard viewfinder from a recycled cereal packet to help you view and focus on nature and your surroundings
Activity
This is something our mindfulness consultant, Ruth Davey uses on a regular basis as part of her photography workshops. A simple viewfinder (it doesn’t need to look like the image above, a simple piece of card with a hole cut out will work nicely!) can really help you to look at details within nature.
Look at something through your viewfinder. Really scrutinise what you are seeing. What colours can you see? Textures? Details? What do you think it would feel like? What other things in nature are the same colours? So many questions!
In our latest book, There’s No Deer Around Here, we’ve created a list of activities to try. To purchase the book, visit our online shop.
