Grateley Primary School Visit

This month Andy had the pleasure of visiting Grateley Primary School.

This is what he had to say:

”This was a really inspiring little village school and it reminded me a lot of my own schooling. I visited every age range and I have to say every single group was engaged, listened well and joined in with the fun tasks I had planned. After some initial readings with the younger ones, we did a Q&A and the questions asked I thought we fantastic, here’s a sample:

Where do you go for inspiration?

When did you know you wanted to be an author?

How long does it taken to produce a book?

What was the first book you fell in love with?

How do you pick one illustrator from so many?

How do you sell the books?

All valid questions right?!

After the session, Andy met parents in the playground and did photos and book signings. A lovely way to spend an early spring afternoon.

Thank you Grateley Primary School
